Our PCA family of churches is growing and establishing new fellowships here on the west coast. Christ Church Ventura is a newly planted, small, but growing congregation that seeks to gather all those who long for spiritual comfort, personal growth, genuine community, and gospel worship.

“The “high” worship service at Christ Church Ventura is a unique medium which has resonance with us. The service is 1-1/2 hours long, yet I have never once looked at my watch. The whole service is conducted by the pastor, which leaves the spiritual spell unbroken by lay participation which I have found a distraction at times in most other church services. There is extensive reading of scripture, creeds and prayers. The content is all different from Sunday to Sunday but the form is very traditional and consistent capturing a true sense of worship. Sermons are very good and there is communion every Sunday. There is good fellowship which continues over into the parish hall for snacks and a full pot luck full meal once a month. Before settling into Christ Church Ventura we visited 28 church services in Ventura County. This is a truly unique worship experience in which the Holy Spirit reaches us.
